Job Description:
The role involves validating and documenting financial fraud/crime detection models, ensuring compliance with SR-11/7 (Supervisory Guidance on Model Risk Management) and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities include –
- Model Validation: Assess the performance and accuracy of fraud/crime detection models, ensuring they effectively identify fraudulent activities.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure models align with regulatory requirements and industry standards, particularly focusing on SR-11/7.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of model development, validation processes, and outcomes, preparing reports for clients and regulators.
- Client Collaboration: Work with clients to understand their needs and provide recommendations for model improvements.
- Continuous Monitoring: Regularly evaluate model performance and suggest updates based on evolving fraud tactics and regulatory changes.
- The goal is to ensure that models are effective, compliant, and continually improving in detecting financial fraud.
Skills Required
- Theoretical understanding of MRM and financial crime/fraud models
- Excel
- Python (good to have)
